Rosendin Electric is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join the Cost Accounting team to provide support in various accounting functions within the company.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Manage the monthly close process: including coordination of actual close with multiple finance departments, preparing month end schedules, accruals, reconciliation, and preparing closing entries.
Consolidation, review and distribution of monthly P&L reports:including coordination with regional controllers to review cost, accruals, internal JV accounting and overall revenue recognition.
Prepare monthly internal JV billings and various inter-company billings.
Prepare and upload various journal entries daily as well as ensuring all transactions are carried out in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
Reconcile inter-company AR and AP transactions monthly and work with cross functional teams to discuss and resolve any discrepancies.
Reconcile inventory, deposit and clearing accounts monthly and work with cross functional teams to discuss and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain and update union wage and fringe rates:including supporting ad hoc requests from Operations to build historical cost of labor files, custom rates.
Assist with the yearly audit and provide supporting documentation.
Assist with Fixed Asset reporting including tracking costs for various purchases and on-going capitalizable projects, preparing monthly entries to move costs to FA.
Provide general support on miscellaneous ad hoc projects.
