YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the execution of EPC projects, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Senior Operations Manager, who manages over $1B in scope, this role will provide leadership in project execution and support strategic growth initiatives within the solar energy sector.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Establish and implement objectives, policies, and procedures to drive operational efficiency and project success.

  • Provide quarterly performance updates and recommend process improvements.

  • Oversee staffing, performance management, and resource allocation across multiple projects.

  • Develop and manage an annual operational budget aligned with revenue and profitability goals.

  • Ensure positive cash flow and financial health of assigned projects.

  • Maintain full visibility into project status, mitigating risks and driving resolution to project challenges.

  • Collaborate with Business Development, Pre-Construction, Engineering, and Field Operations teams to optimize project execution.

  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.

  • Coordinate with finance and leadership teams to support revenue recognition, claims management, and cost control strategies.

  • Lead a team to execute projects within budget, meeting client expectations and contractual obligations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Extensive experience in EPC operations, with a focus on utility-scale solar projects.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L for projects exceeding $100M

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with senior leadership, clients, and project teams

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction or EPC operations, with at least 5 years in solar energy.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale renewable energy projects.

  • A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered

TRAVEL:

  • Up to 50%

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
