YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

Rosendin is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Financial Accountant Manager to manage the financial operations within the IT department. This key role will be responsible for overseeing costs, budgeting, and expenses related to IT operations, including purchase orders, software contracts, and IT hardware. The successful candidate will work closely with the CIO to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with organizational goals, providing valuable insights through financial reporting and analysis.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Budget Management & Expense Oversight:

    • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the IT department, ensuring financial targets are met.

    • Monitor and analyze department expenses, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and optimization.

  • IT Purchase Orders & Software Contracts:

    • Manage and process IT purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal policies and effective cost control.

    • Oversee and manage multiple enterprise software contracts, including Workday, Oracle, and other construction-related software agreements.

    • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure proper contract execution, renewals, and negotiations.

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:

    • Prepare and present regular financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cost analyses specific to IT operations.

    • Provide detailed reports on IT spending, project costs, and variances from the budget to the CIO and relevant stakeholders.

    • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes for the IT department.

  • Transaction Coding & Costing:

    • Code and classify financial transactions related to IT expenditures, ensuring accurate and timely recording.

    • Manage costing for IT hardware (e.g., cell phones, laptops) and other technology-related assets.

    • Track and allocate costs for various IT-related projects and services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.

  • Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Coordination:

    • Work closely with other departments, including procurement, legal, and project management teams, to ensure alignment of financial objectives.

    • Serve as a financial point of contact for IT-related financial queries and projects.

  • Compliance & Best Practices:

    • Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, and external regulations as they relate to IT financial operations.

    • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to support organizational goals and enhance financial accuracy.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management, particularly in IT departments.

  • Proven experience managing large-scale software contracts and vendor relationships (e.g., Workday, Oracle).

  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) is highly desirable.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.

  • CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting, with a focus on IT or technology-related services

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning

  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

Pay Range

$94,500.00-$124,100.00 Annual
