YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The HSE Coordinator II is a non-Exempt early career level safety position. It is a field-based position, focusing on safety oversight and compliance within construction environments. Responsibilities include conducting regular site inspections, identifying and resolving hazardous conditions, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Has experience conducting frequent walk-through inspections of construction areas (Upwards of 80% of the Job is spent in the field doing audits and interacting with the crews).
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and recommending resolution of hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions; Assist in identifying corrective actions and follow through to ensure corrections have been made.
  • Has experience participating in job pre-task planning and job site safety meetings.
  • Has experience assisting with investigating personal injury and property damage accidents.
  • Has experience assisting with compiling data, photographs, etc.; prepare appropriate forms and reports per program procedures and federal, state, and local accident regulations.
  • Has experience assisting with issuing and monitoring various permits as required.
  • Assists in incident response as required.
  • May assist in conducting trainings, orientations, or other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Understands basic job-site safety work practices and regulations.

  • Basic time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary

  • Work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude

  • Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player

  • Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees within regional business unit, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • High School Diploma and Minimum 2 years related experience.

  • OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, STS-C

  • Ability to spend 80% of working time on active construction sites.

TRAVEL:

  • Up to 25% as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • General work environment - sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted in both indoor office settings and outdoor construction job site settings. Environmental conditions will vary

  • Noise level varies based on location

  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
