YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Senior Manager, IT Cybersecurity occupies a critical leadership position, bridging the gap between technical execution and executive strategy at Rosendin. They are responsible for the overall health of the security program and the management of the teams that defend the organization's digital assets. This position will help identify and operationalize security initiatives and standards that need to be applied to the operating environment
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Consult with the Director of Cybersecurity with respect to cybersecurity technology controls and Information Security programs, policies, standards and incidents and overall compliance of Information technology platforms and networks.
Support and drive the Security strategy across Rosendin Electric and direct projects towards desired Security strategic goals.
Assign and oversee resources on security risk assessments, required controls definitions, control procedure appropriateness, vulnerability assessments etc.
Align cybersecurity initiatives with business goals to ensure that security supports rather than hinders organizational growth.
Create and maintain comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) across the enterprise.
Manage the annual security budget, including tool procurement, vendor contracts, and resource allocation.
Ensure the organization meets all legal and industry-specific requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
Implement security improvements by assessing current cybersecurity events; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. Experience with investigating, analyzing, and responding to cyber incidents, performing assessments of systems and networks within the network environment.
Lead regular enterprise-wide risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts.
Oversee the security posture of vendors and partners to prevent supply-chain attacks.
Developing and testing strategies to ensure the organization can remain functional during and after a significant security event.
Monitor the lifecycle of vulnerability detection, reporting, and patching to minimize the attack surface.
Establish and report on Key Performance Indicators (e.g., Mean Time to Detect, Patching Cadence) to the Director of Cybersecurity.
Stay current on the evolving threat landscape to proactively adjust the organization's defensive posture.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer/Information Science, or related discipline.
6 years previous cybersecurity and managerial experience, preferably in an IS/IT environment.
6 years technical experience in a network security focused role including project management and core understanding of Cisco data network hardware, software, environments and technology.
Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience.

Ability to work normal and/or extended (nights, weekends, holidays) hours to meet established deadlines or emergency response.
Demonstrate ability to work under the stress of service interruptions or tight deadlines.
Excellent knowledge of telecommunications and computer network procedures.
In-depth knowledge of technical telecommunications systems and computer LAN/WAN systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence clients, team members, management and external groups.
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position.
Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
TRAVEL:
Must be willing to travel 20% (occasionally up to 50%)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
Noise level is usually low to medium.
Pay Range
$193,600.00-$254,100.00 AnnualThe pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate's pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
