YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Senior Innovation Specialist provides innovative and technical leadership to support the organization's strategic plan. Working with other department leaders, the role will act as an intermediary between the organization and development teams, either internal or external.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Work with internal teams to design, test, and evaluate innovative tools and products based on organizational needs
Oversee and coordinate innovation activities and projects
Monitor and evaluate performance of innovations
Collaborate with department leaders on issue discovery and solutions
Engage and maintain working relationships with external organizations and industry leaders
Support research plan development and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to determine impact of various pilots and testing with partners
Identify and deploy external applications to test for viability, efficiency, and use learnings to inform business units for further development
The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the positions role within the business unit
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Ability to quickly learn new applications and processes
Ability to assess and minimize risk
Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document technical issues
Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle; Visio; Autodesk (Revit, Construction Cloud, Navisworks, etc.) preferred
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related fields
2 years experience of project management, engineering, or related fields
5 years experience in technology related fields
Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience
TRAVEL:
Up to 50%
WORKING CONDITIONS:
General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
