YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Scheduling Manager is responsible for leading and managing the scheduling function within the Energy Group, overseeing Project Schedulers and Senior Project Schedulers. This role ensures the development, implementation, and maintenance of accurate project schedules across multiple projects. The Scheduling Manager provides strategic oversight, drives schedule compliance, and partners with project teams to identify risks, mitigate delays, and optimize timelines. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and technical expertise to support project success and organizational goals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead and manage a team of Project Schedulers and Senior Project Schedulers, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback.
Establish and enforce scheduling standards, processes, and best practices across the Energy Group.
Oversee creation and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and resource-loaded schedules.
Review and approve project schedules, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.
Monitor critical paths, milestones, and constraints; provide proactive solutions to mitigate risks and delays.
Collaborate with Project Management and Corporate leadership to deliver accurate schedule reports and forecasts.
Drive schedule change management and ensure timely communication of updates to stakeholders.
Support integration of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles in scheduling practices.
Facilitate cross-functional coordination to align schedules with project objectives and resource availability.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Strong leadership and team management skills with experience supervising scheduling professionals.
Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and OPC (Oracle Primavera Cloud).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Effective oral and written communication skills for interaction with all levels of the organization.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction scheduling, including at least 3 years in a management role.
TRAVEL:
Approximately 25%-50% (travel to job sites and satellite offices as needed).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

Pay Range
$129,600.00-$170,000.00 AnnualThe pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate's pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
