YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our project execution team for large-scale utility solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and substation projects. This role is critical in ensuring design integrity, construction quality, and adherence to engineering standards from initial execution through project closeout. The Civil Engineer will work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of all civil and mechanical scope elements.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Prepare site constraints maps based on project entitlement and technical documents such as land surveys, hydrology/hydraulics reports, environmental constraints, geotechnical limitations, and client requests.
Review project technical documents including geotechnical reports, environmental reports, ALTA and topo surveys, hydrology reports, etc. and document trouble areas for review by project stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of civil construction as-built drawings and project close out deliverables.
Conduct site visits to perform observations of ongoing construction of PV, Substation and BESS systems for general conformance with construction documents.
Construction Oversight - Monitor and verify that civil and mechanical subcontractors are executing work in full compliance with approved plans, specifications, and engineering standards.
Design Oversight - Provide technical review and feedback during execution to maintain design intent and identify potential constructability issues.
As-Built Verification - Confirm accuracy of as-built documentation by performing plan-to-field overlays and coordinating with survey teams.
Boundary Verification - Confirm and vet project boundaries through document review, field verification, and coordination with surveyors and design teams.
Topographic and Grade Verification - Review and validate topographic surveys, existing grades (EG), finished grades (FG), and top-of-post designs/elevations to ensure accuracy prior to and during construction.
Stakeholder Coordination - Collaborate with internal engineering, project management, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies between design and field conditions.
Quality Control - Support field quality inspections and testing to verify compliance with civil design standards.
Documentation & Reporting - Maintain detailed project records, progress updates, and technical reports for project leadership and client review.

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our project execution team for large-scale utility solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and substation projects. This role is critical in ensuring design integrity, construction quality, and adherence to engineering standards from initial execution through project closeout. The Civil Engineer will work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of all civil and mechanical scope elements.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Prepare site constraints maps based on project entitlement and technical documents such as land surveys, hydrology/hydraulics reports, environmental constraints, geotechnical limitations, and client requests.
Review project technical documents including geotechnical reports, environmental reports, ALTA and topo surveys, hydrology reports, etc. and document trouble areas for review by project stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of civil construction as-built drawings and project close out deliverables.
Conduct site visits to perform observations of ongoing construction of PV, Substation and BESS systems for general conformance with construction documents.
Construction Oversight - Monitor and verify that civil and mechanical subcontractors are executing work in full compliance with approved plans, specifications, and engineering standards.
Design Oversight - Provide technical review and feedback during execution to maintain design intent and identify potential constructability issues.
As-Built Verification - Confirm accuracy of as-built documentation by performing plan-to-field overlays and coordinating with survey teams.
Boundary Verification - Confirm and vet project boundaries through document review, field verification, and coordination with surveyors and design teams.
Topographic and Grade Verification - Review and validate topographic surveys, existing grades (EG), finished grades (FG), and top-of-post designs/elevations to ensure accuracy prior to and during construction.
Stakeholder Coordination - Collaborate with internal engineering, project management, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies between design and field conditions.
Quality Control - Support field quality inspections and testing to verify compliance with civil design standards.
Documentation & Reporting - Maintain detailed project records, progress updates, and technical reports for project leadership and client review.

COMPETENCIES:
Strong knowledge of site grading, drainage, foundations, and utility layouts.
Ability to read, interpret, and validate civil and mechanical design drawings.
Strong understanding of survey control, topographic data, and elevation benchmarks.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Working knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics and calculations for stormwater.
Understanding of grading design for drainage, earthwork, and system grading criteria.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Proficient using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

The Civil Engineer II is responsible for providing Civil Engineering technical guidance during the estimating, design and construction phases of utility-scale solar, substation, and BESS projects throughout the United States.
Provide early-stage Preconstruction civil design for estimating purposes through the preparation of buildable area plans, preliminary erosion control, grading plans and road design.

Prepare Schedule of Values to relay civil material types, quantities, and general earthwork scope to estimators for inclusion in cost proposals.
Participate in efforts with other engineers and construction stakeholders to optimize project layout for cost efficiency and simplicity of construction.
Work as part of an engineering and construction team requiring cross disciplinary communication and coordination.
Perform, conduct, or provide all civil engineering deliverables necessary for the project under the supervision of the responsible engineer in charge. This may include calculations, details, designs, memos, reports, site observation summaries, entitlement research, design specifications, drainage reports and SWPPP documentation among others.
Review project technical documents including geotechnical reports, environmental reports, ALTA and topo surveys, hydrology reports, etc. and document trouble areas for review by project stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of civil construction drawings through 30%, 60%, 90%, IFR, IFC and as-built stages.
Perform construction administration activities including responding to comments and RFI's from Owners, 3rd party engineers, AHJ's and review of product submittals.
Participate in weekly project calls providing updates on relevant deliverable milestones.
Participate in weekly internal calls providing project status updates to senior engineers and Rosendin management.
Conduct site visits to perform observations of ongoing construction of PV, Substation and BESS systems for general conformance with construction documents.

The Procurement Team Lead will manage a work group responsible for the procurement of engineered equipment, commodities, permanent plant materials, and small tools and supplies. This position is a ‘working manager' role that will execute contractual obligations while providing oversight, support, and mentorship to Procurement Agents and Sr. Procurement Agents.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Monitor, evaluate, and mentor working team on meeting or exceeding performance goals and expectations.
Ensure team is complying with procurement policies and procedures and is in strict adherence to documentation requirements.
Oversee and plan all aspects of procurement from pre-bid closeout.
Effectively manage people and projects within assigned Region to pursue cost savings opportunities, while implementing and adhering to process standardization efficiencies.
Provide coaching and mentoring to staff personnel as required and provide performance evaluation input to Regional Procurement Manager.
Support estimating department by contacting suppliers for budgetary quotations for materials and equipment in the preparation of bids.
Represent company in contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
Negotiate terms and conditions with equipment and material, while consulting with corporate attorneys and senior management project and risk while commercial competitiveness.
Monitor and oversee execution of the competitive bid process via Request for Proposals (RFP) or Request for Quotes (RFQ) for their team.
Responsible for the qualification and evaluation process for suppliers of materials and equipment.
Lead aggregated sourcing events across regions as needed to drive procurement value on behalf of Rosendin Electric (REI).
Collaborate with the Center of Excellence on larger category strategy initiatives geared toward increasing REI margin and enhancing process efficiencies.
Review all internal/external metrics for our suppliers, procurement, and operations to ensure targets are being met, and engage with Regional Procurement Manager to identify the root cause and mitigation actions to address any deficiency gaps.
Ensure recommended awards are in accordance with the approved decision model and Delegation of Authority to ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
Ensure that mutually beneficial relationships are in place with suppliers through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
Provide feedback assist in analyzing market and delivery systems assess present and future material availability.
Communicate and enforce procurement policies and procedures.
Responsible for projections financial planning,delivery schedules and procurement reporting.
Responsible for the development and review of all procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.
Oversee the development and implementation of procurement and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
Oversee the projections, financial planning, delivery schedules and reporting.
Review materials for accuracy upon receipt, and oversee material review process. Enter documentation into purchasing system.
Review and approve invoices.with vendor and A/P resolve invoice problems.
Oversee the development and use of 3rd-party Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).
Oversee the return material ensure proper and timely credit to the project

Bachelor's Degree

The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing HR people management and administrative support which includes acting as broker and partner with various People Department functions, including Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development, and HR Shared Services to provide solutions to a wide variety of employee questions and concerns. Assists and supports HRBPs in the design, communication, and execution of strategic People department initiatives in support of the business.This will include data analysis, audits, program design, communication, and training delivery.
Maintains, and is responsible for, data integrity by either entering any required employee change information (new hires, job changes, terminations, promotions, transfers, etc.). Updates changes to employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll, benefit carriers, and other internal/external areas.
Provides guidance in solving HR-related questions or issues related to comp and benefits, PTO, processes, or policy.Partners with Shared Services as necessary.

Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention through management partnership and employee feedback systems or surveys.
Works with managers to identify skill or knowledge gaps and delivers or coordinates training in response dependent on topic.

Maintains, and is responsible for, data integrity by either entering any required employee change information (new hires, job changes, terminations, promotions, transfers, etc.). Updates changes to employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll, benefit carriers, and other internal/external areas.
Provides guidance in solving HR-related questions or issues related to comp and benefits, PTO, processes, or policy.Partners with Shared Services as necessary.
Investigates and recommends corrective actions to resolve workplace issues or complaints.Partners with HRBPs and/or the Legal department as necessary.
Assists with new hire orientation as needed.May include coordinating required paperwork, scheduling, and delivering content.
Supports the local college recruitment program initiatives from coordinating events to attending events as a Company representative.
Supports the coordination of special projects and events, including benefits open enrollment, recognition events, performance appraisals, training, company events,etc.
Acts as a liaison with other HR Functions to provide tactical solutions for the business.
Handle performance improvement plans, progressive discipline, and other employee relations issues, working with the HRBP on escalated items.
Basic knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, risk evaluation, and regulatory compliance related to FMLA, leaves of absences, return to work, ADA, NLRA, etc. Partners with the legal department and/or HRBPs as needed/required.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention through management partnership and employee feedback systems or surveys.
Works with managers to identify skill or knowledge gaps and delivers or coordinates training in response dependent on topic.

Basic understanding of Labor Law to include both State and Federal statues as well as basic familiarity with the NLRA.
Understand basic concepts of risk analysis and management with the ability to exercise judgement in ambiguous situations where clear courses of action may not be present.
Basic understanding of compensation philosophies and practices with the ability to recognize issues and apply established programs to address.
Basic data analytics and interpretation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow- up skills.
High level of discretion and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential personnel matters and documentation
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle and SharePoint -Preferred
Ability to reconcile and provide benefit guidance
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 3 years of experience.
PHR a plus

General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
