As our Assistant Corporate Financial Controller, you will be instrumental in upholding Rosendin's financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making across our nationwide operations. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and sound accounting practices that empower our project teams and reflect our commitment to employee ownership. Your expertise will directly contribute to the sustainable growth and success of one of the nation's largest electrical contractors.What You'll Do:
- Oversee critical aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and accompanying disclosures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal controls over financial reporting to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate and support external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to independent auditors.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and research complex accounting issues to ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality output and adherence to best practices.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior leadership regarding operational results and financial health.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, HR, and IT, to optimize financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Assist in the preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans, aligning with corporate objectives.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- Deep understanding and practical application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), especially within the construction industry.
- Proficiency with enterprise-level financial management systems (e.g., Workday) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with an aptitude for identifying and resolving complex financial issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to mentor, develop, and manage a team effectively in a dynamic environment.
- A meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in all financial processes and reporting.
What You Bring to Us:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within the construction or related industry, or equivalent experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) licensure strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing consolidated financial statements and managing complex accounting cycles for a large organization.
- Experience working with large-scale ERP systems and financial reporting tools is essential.

- Primarily works in a professional office environment; may occasionally visit project sites or other corporate offices as needed for collaboration.
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting, computer usage, and repetitive motions.

Pay Range
$157,300.00-$206,500.00 AnnualThe pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate's pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
