YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

As the Director, Supply Chain Management, you will serve as the primary leader of our national end-to-end supply chain strategy with a primary focus on developing the manufacturing vertical of the Rosendin business. This is a high-impact role responsible for synchronizing logistics, fleet, and material management operations with pre-construction and estimating departments to support large-scale electrical construction projects. You will be tasked with establishing an enterprise-wide supply chain strategy to support multiple operational sites in collaboration with our distribution and supplier partners into a sophisticated, data-driven supply chain machine that minimizes waste and maximizes project profitability.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

National Warehouse & Logistics Oversight

  • Provide strategic leadership for multiple regional warehouse facilities, ensuring standardized safety protocols, material asset accuracy, and operational excellence.

  • Optimize the national logistics network by collaborating with our distribution and supplier partners to ensure "just-in-time" delivery of materials to our manufacturing facilities and end-user job sites.

Material Management & Handling

  • Standardize material handling procedures to reduce material leakage/breakage and improve field productivity.

  • Implement advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) via Oracle Fusion upgrade to track our material from PO to installation.

Demand Planning & Material Recirculation

  • Partner with Pre-Construction and Estimating teams to forecast material needs for multi-year national projects.

  • Develop a robust Material Recirculation Program to identify, recover, and redistribute excess material from completed projects, significantly reducing "dead stock" write-offs.

  • Lead reduction of overall supply chain risk through team development of supply chain contingencies and proactive resolutions for demand/supply imbalances and disruption.

Strategic Leadership & Vendor Relations

  • Drive digital transformation by integrating supply chain data with Oracle Fusion and BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.

  • Coordinate and align our supply chain data with our strategic distribution and supplier partners to streamline our vendor processes.

Leadership

  • Build a strong multi-locational team atmosphere and foster collaboration across the organization.

  • Ensure teams are working cross-functionally to meet corporate goals

  • Mentor, guide, and coach direct reports to expand their capabilities and performance. Provide ongoing performance feedback. Identify and take appropriate action for non-performance.

  • Encourage, support and advocate for employee's growth within the team and across the organization.

  • Actively participate in and lead by example through all change management initiatives.

Staff Management

  • Effectively manage a multi-locational team under a fast pace and constantly changing circumstances.

  • Proactively recruit, screen, and select candidates for current and future resource requirements.

  • Ensure each employee has a clear and thorough understanding of their role and responsibilities. Collaborate with human resources to keep job descriptions current for each position.

  • Ensure department structure and budgeted hiring plans are appropriate for performance and productivity levels required.

  • Utilize the company's performance management program as designed to align individual performance to overall performance objectives. Meet all completion requirements at a high-quality level. Provide ongoing performance feedback. Identify and take appropriate action for non-performance.

  • Mentor, guide, and coach direct reports to expand their capabilities and performance.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • Over 17 years of professional experience in supply chain management, procurement, contract management, project management, or related roles, including at least 7 years in a leadership position.

  • Demonstrates leadership and ability to work well with others establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Rosendin staff and vendors.

  • Demonstrated experience developing supply chain management strategies.

  • Demonstrated experience creating and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) via contracts or Service Level Agreements (SLA's)

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) Certification or Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) Certification preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, video chat and software systems. Position may require travel to construction sites and industrial facilities requiring mobility (on ground and at heights) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and work boots

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Employee will work in multiple environments including an office, warehouse and in a trailer or building on construction sites. On construction sites, noise levels will be moderate to high. Job site will contain light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling and talking, bells whistles and alarms
