The Director of Engineering - Data Centers is a key leadership role responsible for guiding regional engineering strategy, operations, and performance. This leader will oversee engineering teams delivering state‑of‑the‑art data center designs-including next‑generation AI‑focused facilities. In partnership with senior leadership, this role influences strategic direction, operational planning, and overall engineering excellence. Provide input on strategic decision making and processes to the VP, Engineering and other Directors and Officers.
Reports directly to the Senior Director or Vice President, Engineering and participate in senior manager planning including engineering, detailing/modeling and principal engineering (non-production or not design related) work for the firm.
Develops and oversees the Engineering operation in their region of responsibility..Candidate is able to anticipate, plan and map group, team and staff skills to the work
Recruit train and deploy staff throughout their region of responsibility.
Responsible for the HR and budgetary oversight for the Regional Engineering group.
Ability to develop proposals and meet, present and secure work on behalf of the firm either alone or in concert with of others in the firm.
Directs preliminary engineering activities, such as the project development, programming or schematic design phase of work, when needed with a focus on large value or high risk work.
Directs delicate or significant project close-out, installation or manufacturing QA/QC or testing/commissioning operations on behalf of the Operations group. In short, firefight.
May be tasked to act as the firm's emissary for dispute resolution or sensitive client work or negotiations.
Ability to work independently with little direction based on the operating business plan and financial controls.
Ability to take executive-level guidance and develop a complete action plan for the required deliverables or project. This would encompass situations with murky or conflicting guidance or goals.
Develops or oversees complex and interrelated project-specific work, such as sequence of operations, equipment/system testing scripts or complex engineering products.
Visit project locations to ascertain existing conditions, perform feasibility studies, test factory-built systems prior to shipment and conduct field investigations as requested by the Operations Team..
Conducts value engineering evaluations to fully engineered designs.
Ability to evaluate project/system design criteria with budgetary issues.
Extensive knowledge of equipment and fluency in electrical system testing and commissioning is preferred.
Supports the firm's Pre-Construction efforts, especially in the fields of Estimating and Business Development. Assist in the identification and development of leads and closing of new work. Has the ability to maintain external customer relationships throughout the term of the relationship or project.

The Engineering Program Manager is responsible for managing project budgets, projecting, and tracking resource needs, identifying variances in scope, and assisting in taking corrective actions so that each project meets its target margins and customer satisfaction goals.
Work with the Director, Engineering Team Lead and/or the design, integration, analytics lead to assess scope of work, schedule, deliverables, and resources necessary to successfully complete a project successfully.
Assist in the preparation of a complete estimate for pursuits and new projects. Track the proposal status.
Provide overall business management support for multiple projects simultaneously .
Gather fundamental new project information (project name, project #, division, Team Lead, EOR, budget, PM, Superintendent/GF, BIM Manager (if applicable), schedule, deliverables. Distribute this new project information to the appropriate individuals and/or group.
Set up new projects with trackers for budgets, action items, current project and task code spreadsheets, manpower projections, and request access to necessary program(s).
Coordinate with the project PM and cost accounting to assure designated task codes for a project are available, funded appropriately, are incorporated into the Oracle project budgets and are available and chargeable in Kronos.
Ensure that everyone is cognizant of the project timeline and schedule to ensure on time completion of project deliverables. This includes regular reminders as due dates get closer.
Coordinate with Team Leads to prepare and submit change orders (ECNs) completely and in a timely manner. Validate and document customer acceptance and status of change orders.
Request generation of or renaming of task codes for approved ECNs and ensure task codes and funding are incorporated into the Oracle project budgets. Track ECN status, budget, and funding. Maintain and submit project EPCO Logs with ECNs to executive administrator as necessary.
Maintain and submit weekly/bi-weekly, Project Budget Tracking Reports to project leads to include project metrics such as, expense versus budget, labor versus budget, and progress of project versus the timeline.
Update resource projections continuously. Distribute to team several times monthly prior to the Directors Monthly Resource Review meeting. Post monthly Master on Engineering Sharepoint site.
Schedule and facilitate weekly project meetings, biweekly team meetings and quarterly team meetings and additional meetings as requested.
Assist in the hiring process to track approved candidates through management process, HR process, and IT process and assure speedy hiring and that all equipment and software is ready for employees first day.
Assist in onboarding new hires by acclimating them to our group, engineering and Rosendin (Kronos, expense reports, Rosendin travel requirements, Concur, requesting p-cards, team calendar(s), team roster and org chart, Eng. Org chart, office logistics, etc.).

The Engineering Team Lead is an engineering management position responsible for providing technical engineering oversight and design team management for engineering projects for which they are assigned. This technical management role is responsible for financial, resource allocation, logistic and technical leadership of projects and has the capability to mentor and train staff under their supervision.
Manage all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and project meeting minutes. Supervise and direct overall project activities as assigned by the Head of Programs including but not limited to planning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained and consistent. Project activities may include the following based on competency and bandwidth to perform:
Maintaining change order, submittal, and document (drawing) control logs; prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.

Creating and timely delivering Owner and Maintenance Manuals.

Conduct vendor coordination meeting to ensure all systems and all equipment are working well with each other.

Provide power system failure analysis, Sequence of Event analysis and/or develop a metering / triggering system to ensure proper event capture for conducting such analysis.

Design and Develop site wide electrical distribution Sequence of Operation that ensures system reliability and resiliency.
Coordinate with utility, turbine power plant, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) or a combination of all three!
Spec, evaluate, and review vendor or manufacturer's submittal and equipment to ensure they conform to the system design requirement.
Conduct vendor coordination meeting to ensure all systems and all equipment are working well with each other.
Design and develop mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical interlock systems.
Work with other internal teams to specify proper relaying with proper instrument transformers to ensure secure and dependable operation.
Design and develop system wide automation systems using PLC or RTAC style industrial
controllers, including but not limited to: System overload prevention, multipurpose busway
interlocks, load management systems, generator plant load curtailment systems, Gen plant
start and load controls including selective load pickup and load shed schemes, etc.
Design and develop relay protection and automation logics for SEL, ABB, Siemens or GE relays
Design and develop system protection and control architecture such as IEC61850, mirrored bit, protection interface, Modbus, DNP etc.
Provide power system failure analysis, Sequence of Event analysis and/or develop a metering / triggering system to ensure proper event capture for conducting such analysis.
Self-starting, avid learners on new technologies and products.

The Engineer III is a senior engineering position responsible for providing technical engineering information and assistance to ensure compliance with the project requirements and all engineering standards, applicable codes, and specifications. This is a senior engineering role with developed subject matter expertise and the capability to mentor and train other staff.

The Estimator II is a mid-level professional responsible for preparing and completing bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Estimator II solves a range of straightforward problems and assembles construction costs by collecting and studying information, evaluating bid specifications and drawings, to ensure they understand what is required to bid on and win the project successfully, and can present the project cost to Senior leadership. With moderate guidance and direction, the Estimator II provides overall support for small- to medium-sized projects, assisted by a senior-level estimator.
Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and requirements.
Prepare estimates by calculating the complete takeoff of the scope of work and entering them into the computer estimating system; review the estimate printout for accuracy and completeness.
Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes. Review quotes for completeness according to plans and specifications.
Itemize and quantify all incidentals necessary in preparing the bid packages, including sub-contract work, equipment rental, tools, and supplies.
Provide guidance to personnel preparing the completion matrix discipline for assigned bids.

The Estimator II is a mid-level professional responsible for preparing and completing bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Estimator II solves a range of straightforward problems and assembles construction costs by collecting and studying information, evaluating bid specifications and drawings, to ensure they understand what is required to bid on and win the project successfully, and can present the project cost to Senior leadership. With moderate guidance and direction, the Estimator II provides overall support for small- to medium-sized projects, assisted by a senior-level estimator.
Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and requirements.
Prepare estimates by calculating the complete takeoff of the scope of work and entering them into the computer estimating system; review the estimate printout for accuracy and completeness.
Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes. Review quotes for completeness according to plans and specifications.
Itemize and quantify all incidentals necessary in preparing the bid packages, including sub-contract work, equipment rental, tools, and supplies.
Provide guidance to personnel preparing the completion matrix discipline for assigned bids.
In conjunction with Senior Estimators, develop labor productivity and (installation unit costs where applicable) based on projected site conditions and historical data.
Compile and execute the scope of work, address technical requirements and pricing, then present them to the Lead Estimator, Estimating Manager, and/or Chief Estimator for the estimated bid package.
After the successful bid, at project turnover, meet with the project management team along with the senior-level estimator to fully explain the estimate, scope of work, quotes, and offer aspects for the successful transition of the project.
Responsible for the timely completion of all client-required documents.
Prepare scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimates.
Maintain files of working documents for backup to estimating assumptions and methodologies.

As an Estimator III at Rosendin, you will be a crucial member of our Renewables Pre-Construction team. You will be responsible for leading the estimation process for renewable energy projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability.

The BIM Manager is part of the Corporate BIM team, and is responsible for the management & production of the building electrical BIM models and field/shop drawings, the BIM content for the building electrical systems, and the BIM coordination process.
Oversee the process of virtual construction and design documentation.
Manage a team of modelers and coordinators by coaching, mentoring, and supervising.
Ensure compliance with Corporate BIM Program and Processes.
Coordinate with professional staff on reviewing models and comments.
Develop electrical building models from basic sketches, 2D drawings and verbal instructions, utilizing Revit MEP/AutoCAD MEP tools.
Resolve conflicts with other disciplines and trades using NavisWorks while adhering and improving primary electrical system design.
Produce drawings/models consistent with instruction, guidelines, and CAD/BIM standards.
Modify incoming CAD/BIM files for use in design/detailing process (clean-up, audit, reference and troubleshoot).
Prepare 3D electrical system layouts for the Underground Coordination and Above the Ceiling Coordination.
Prepare 3D seismic support model for all electrical systems.
Produce MEP Coordination Drawings and Electrical Shop Drawings extracting data directly from the 3D electrical model.
Attend and actively participate in coordination meetings with other MEP trades.
Utilize CAD Scheduling and Takeoffs for pre-fabrication.
Use the Revit family editor/AutoCAD Content Manager to build BIM content for electrical system components as needed.

The BIM Manager is part of the Corporate BIM team, and is responsible for the management & production of the building electrical BIM models and field/shop drawings, the BIM content for the building electrical systems, and the BIM coordination process.
Oversee the process of virtual construction and design documentation.
Manage a team of modelers and coordinators by coaching, mentoring, and supervising.
Ensure compliance with Corporate BIM Program and Processes.
Coordinate with professional staff on reviewing models and comments.
Develop electrical building models from basic sketches, 2D drawings and verbal instructions, utilizing Revit MEP/AutoCAD MEP tools.
Resolve conflicts with other disciplines and trades using NavisWorks while adhering and improving primary electrical system design.
Produce drawings/models consistent with instruction, guidelines, and CAD/BIM standards.
Modify incoming CAD/BIM files for use in design/detailing process (clean-up, audit, reference and troubleshoot).
Prepare 3D electrical system layouts for the Underground Coordination and Above the Ceiling Coordination.
Prepare 3D seismic support model for all electrical systems.
Produce MEP Coordination Drawings and Electrical Shop Drawings extracting data directly from the 3D electrical model.
Attend and actively participate in coordination meetings with other MEP trades.
Utilize CAD Scheduling and Takeoffs for pre-fabrication.
Use the Revit family editor/AutoCAD Content Manager to build BIM content for electrical system components as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 years' relevant work experience with an architecture/engineering consulting firm or contractor

The Project Controls Engineer serves as a core technical member of Rosendin's internal Project Controls Group (PCG). This role supports the Project Controls Lead and Project Controls Managers (PCMs) to ensure project scope, structure, and controls readiness meet enterprise standards. The BIM Estimator is responsible for preparing estimates for all Corporate BIM Modeling and Coordination efforts. The BIM Estimator develops BIM estimates by reviewing current BIM production rates, bid specifications, drawings and BIM requirements documents.
Review proposal specifications along with schedules, drawings and BIM execution plans when available to determine scope of Modeling and Coordination.
Prepare BIM estimates by inputting construction estimate takeoff quantities into custom BIM estimating worksheets and software. Review final BIM estimate for accuracy and completeness.
Update scope inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications on the BIM Estimate proposal.
Incorporate prefab scope and subcontract work into BIM estimate as requested.
Provide the BIM Manager a preliminary BIM estimate for review. Apply recommended changes and issue formal BIM estimate to the construction group.
Participate in BIM Start−up meetings as required to provide any further explanation needed on the estimate for the successful BIM Modeling and Coordination of the project.
Maintain files of working documents in a shared location as back−up for estimates.
Prepare all change orders, revisions and scope breakout pricing associated with Modeling and Coordination on the project when submitted through the company portal.
Utilize estimating dashboard to review actual modeling production rates and update estimating rates periodically to be in line with current performance.
Maintain agenda for weekly BIM estimating meeting.Utilize estimate request log to track cost of BIM estimating work being performed and transferred to projects or divisions.
Ensure the estimate is produced before specified due date and competitively priced with respect to region, industry, design type and historical projects of similar characteristics.

The BIM Estimator is responsible for preparing estimates for all Corporate BIM Modeling and Coordination efforts. The BIM Estimator develops BIM estimates by reviewing current BIM production rates, bid specifications, drawings and BIM requirements documents.
Review proposal specifications along with schedules, drawings and BIM execution plans when available to determine scope of Modeling and Coordination.
Prepare BIM estimates by inputting construction estimate takeoff quantities into custom BIM estimating worksheets and software. Review final BIM estimate for accuracy and completeness.
Update scope inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications on the BIM Estimate proposal.
Incorporate prefab scope and subcontract work into BIM estimate as requested.
Provide the BIM Manager a preliminary BIM estimate for review. Apply recommended changes and issue formal BIM estimate to the construction group.
Participate in BIM Start−up meetings as required to provide any further explanation needed on the estimate for the successful BIM Modeling and Coordination of the project.
Maintain files of working documents in a shared location as back−up for estimates.
Prepare all change orders, revisions and scope breakout pricing associated with Modeling and Coordination on the project when submitted through the company portal.
Utilize estimating dashboard to review actual modeling production rates and update estimating rates periodically to be in line with current performance.
Maintain agenda for weekly BIM estimating meeting.Utilize estimate request log to track cost of BIM estimating work being performed and transferred to projects or divisions.
Ensure the estimate is produced before specified due date and competitively priced with respect to region, industry, design type and historical projects of similar characteristics.
The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position's role within the business unit.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience estimating commercial construction projects.Electrical construction and/or BIM estimating experience preferred.
Relevant experience in Accubid and Enterprise software.Familiarity with VDC software a plus.
Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge of assigned discipline, construction technology, estimating techniques.
Perform arithmetic calculations required for estimating.
Read and interpret construction design drawings and contract documents.
Solve practical problems using a variety of specific variables in situations where limited standardization may exist or require variance.
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc.) with advanced knowledge of Excel; Oracle preferred, PowerBi or Sharepoint a plus.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
Work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
Oral and written communication skills as required for the position.
Self−motivated, proactive and an effective team player.
Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.

General work environment − sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
Noise level is usually low to medium.
