YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The People Data Analyst plays a critical role on the People Analytics team, focused on transforming People data into actionable insight. While the team continues to build out its dashboard and reporting infrastructure, this role is responsible for the analysis layer that sits on top of it: digging into workforce data, identifying trends, and translating findings into insights that inform decisions across HR and the business. This is distinct from report production - the emphasis is on data manipulation, investigation, and interpretation, not building or maintaining dashboards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Partner with the People Analytics Lead to fulfill incoming reporting and analysis requests, prioritizing based on business impact and urgency.
  • Manipulate and structure large, complex data sets from Workday and related systems to prepare them for analysis.
  • Analyze workforce data (headcount, turnover, hiring, tenure, and related trends) to identify patterns and surface meaningful insights, not just figures.
  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable narratives for HR Partners, HR Ops leadership, and business stakeholders.
  • Support the build-out of data governance and definitions standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across reporting.
  • Collaborate with the People Analytics Lead on the dashboard and reporting framework, providing analytical context and validation.
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests, balancing depth of analysis with turnaround expectations.
  • Identify data quality issues or gaps and recommend solutions to improve the reliability of workforce reporting.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • Demonstrated experience working with large, complex data sets, including cleaning, structuring, and manipulating data for analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to move beyond summarizing data to explaining what it means and why it matters.
  • Experience with HRIS or workforce data (Workday experience strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working independently and prioritizing across multiple concurrent requests.
  • Prior experience in HR, People Analytics, or a related analytics function preferred.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

Within the first several months, this person is fielding and completing analysis requests independently, contributing insight-driven findings (not just data pulls) to key workforce conversations, and is seen as the go-to resource for "what does this data actually tell us" across the People Analytics function.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.
  • We fully comply with the ADA and applicable state law, including considering reasonable accommodation measures that may enable qualified disabled applicants and employees to perform essential functions.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs

YOU Matter - Our Benefits

  • ESOP - Employee Stock Ownership
  • 401 K
  • Annual bonus program based upon performance, profitability, and achievement
  • 17 PTO days per year plus 10 paid holidays
  • 3 days of paid sick leave each year
  • 3 days of paid Bereavement leave each year
  • 3 days of paid Jury Duty
  • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance
  • Bonding Leave
  • Term Life, AD&D Insurance, and Voluntary Life Insurance
  • Disability Income Protection Insurance
  • Pre-tax Flexible Spending Plans (Health and Dependent Care)
