The Assistant Project Manager is an entry-level project management position and is expected to learn and develop competency in the Essential Duties and Responsibilities. In addition, the APM is responsible for providing administrative and construction support for our Project Management team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, (Return for Information), and meeting minutes.

• Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager, including planning, coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures, and standards are maintained, etc.

• Maintain change orders, submittal, and document (drawing) control logs. Prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.

• Responsible for contract submittals that are accurate and timely.

• Responsible for creating and issuing the Subcontractors' contracts.

• Responsible for the assembly and timely delivery of the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.

• Ensure that the project quality control plan is followed.

• Interacts with subcontractors to ensure we have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.

• Responsible for keeping the Warranty Log up to date.

• Attend company/project meetings with clients, subcontractors, etc., and provide project management support

• Cooperate with and technically assist field personnel assigned to the area of responsibility.

• Monitor other contractors' activities and progress.

• Responsible for creating the Job Information Sheets and establishing Job Files.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Act as liaison between supervisor and others (i.e., departments, external contacts, vendors, clients, etc.).

The Project Manager I is a mid-level project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support for several small to medium projects or one large project supporting senior project management.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Procurement Team Lead will manage a work group responsible for the procurement of engineered equipment, commodities, permanent plant materials, and small tools and supplies. This position is a ‘working manager' role that will execute contractual obligations while providing oversight, support, and mentorship to Procurement Agents and Sr. Procurement Agents.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Monitor, evaluate, and mentor working team on meeting or exceeding performance goals and expectations.

• Ensure team is complying with procurement policies and procedures and is in strict adherence to documentation requirements.

• Oversee and plan all aspects of procurement from pre-bid closeout.

• Effectively manage people and projects within assigned Region to pursue cost savings opportunities, while implementing and adhering to process standardization efficiencies.

• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff personnel as required and provide performance evaluation input to Regional Procurement Manager.

• Support estimating department by contacting suppliers for budgetary quotations for materials and equipment in the preparation of bids.

• Represent company in contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.

• Negotiate terms and conditions with equipment and material, while consulting with corporate attorneys and senior management project and risk while commercial competitiveness.

• Monitor and oversee execution of the competitive bid process via Request for Proposals (RFP) or Request for Quotes (RFQ) for their team.

• Responsible for the qualification and evaluation process for suppliers of materials and equipment.

• Lead aggregated sourcing events across regions as needed to drive procurement value on behalf of Rosendin Electric (REI).

• Collaborate with the Center of Excellence on larger category strategy initiatives geared toward increasing REI margin and enhancing process efficiencies.

• Review all internal/external metrics for our suppliers, procurement, and operations to ensure targets are being met, and engage with Regional Procurement Manager to identify the root cause and mitigation actions to address any deficiency gaps.

• Ensure recommended awards are in accordance with the approved decision model and Delegation of Authority to ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

• Ensure that mutually beneficial relationships are in place with suppliers through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).

• Provide feedback assist in analyzing market and delivery systems assess present and future material availability.

• Communicate and enforce procurement policies and procedures.

• Responsible for projections financial planning,delivery schedules and procurement reporting.

• Responsible for the development and review of all procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.

• Oversee the development and implementation of procurement and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.

• Lead aggregated sourcing events across regions as needed to drive procurement value on behalf of Rosendin Electric (REI).

• Collaborate with the Center of Excellence on larger category strategy initiatives geared toward increasing REI margin and enhancing process efficiencies.

• Review all internal/external metrics for our suppliers, procurement, and operations to ensure targets are being met, and engage with Regional Procurement Manager to identify the root cause and mitigation actions to address any deficiency gaps.

• Ensure recommended awards are in accordance with the approved decision model and Delegation of Authority to ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

• Ensure that mutually beneficial relationships are in place with suppliers through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).

• Provide feedback assist in analyzing market and delivery systems assess present and future material availability.

• Communicate and enforce procurement policies and procedures.

• Responsible for projections financial planning,delivery schedules and procurement reporting.

• Responsible for the development and review of all procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.

General Foreman

The General Foreman is responsible for Rosendin; managing the labor, materials and production for electrical construction projects. Provide technical expertise in installing and troubleshooting electrical wiring and equipment. The Safety Manager administers project safety programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. They may be responsible for one project or multiple small projects. This role would report to a Senior Safety Manager or Regional Safety Director and potentially manage Safety Coordinators and Field Safety Specialists. This subject matter expert will have significant autonomy contributing technical support to make safety-related decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Lead daily audits of all work areas. Provide safety expertise in response to identified deficiencies and requests for safety assistance. Communication with the project team and field leadership is essential.

• Prepare professional reports, conduct safety briefings, act as company spokesperson for site safety issues, research, and answer site safety questions and concerns.

• Resolve site safety issues and provide emergency response as needed that arises from sub-contractors, customers, employees, and company managers.

• Identify gaps and implement safety program elements, as needed, to comply with customer and regulatory requirements.

• Direct comprehensive, in-depth investigations of all injury and loss incidents, identify all causal factors, develop and implement measures to prevent recurrences, and follow up to ensure long-term resolution.

• Conduct safety training, testing, and record-keeping for all employees, sub-contractors, and where Rosendin is prime, all other persons arriving on site (New Hire Orientation, Equipment Training, Haz Com, Fall Protection, Excavation, Confined Space, Lockout/Tag out, Crane and Rigging, etc.).

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Safety Manager administers project safety programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. They may be responsible for one project or multiple small projects. This role would report to a Senior Safety Manager or Regional Safety Director and potentially manage Safety Coordinators and Field Safety Specialists. This subject matter expert will have significant autonomy contributing technical support to make safety-related decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Lead daily audits of all work areas. Provide safety expertise in response to identified deficiencies and requests for safety assistance. Communication with the project team and field leadership is essential.

• Prepare professional reports, conduct safety briefings, act as company spokesperson for site safety issues, research, and answer site safety questions and concerns.

• Resolve site safety issues and provide emergency response as needed that arises from sub-contractors, customers, employees, and company managers.

• Identify gaps and implement safety program elements, as needed, to comply with customer and regulatory requirements.

• Direct comprehensive, in-depth investigations of all injury and loss incidents, identify all causal factors, develop and implement measures to prevent recurrences, and follow up to ensure long-term resolution.

• Conduct safety training, testing, and record-keeping for all employees, sub-contractors, and where Rosendin is prime, all other persons arriving on site (New Hire Orientation, Equipment Training, Haz Com, Fall Protection, Excavation, Confined Space, Lockout/Tag out, Crane and Rigging, etc.).

• Act as an advisor to the company management team and customer agencies to ensure safety requirements are identified, communicated to employees, and fulfilled.

• Manage the assigned project's safety program budget, planning, acquiring, controlling, and distributing all safety equipment, supplies, and training aids.

• Develop and review the site safety plan for the project.

• Contribute to project start-up meetings.

• Review of the three-week look ahead for the project.

• Ensure a crisis management plan is implemented for projects and facilities.

• Ensure clinics/medical facilities are set up, and the project team knows their location.

• Ensure procedures are followed for LOTO and first-time energization at the project site.

• Review Step by Step and MOPS (Method of Procedures).

• Develop and participate in RCAs (root cause analysis) to prevent reoccurring events at projects.

• Identify needs and compose training documents, pre-task plans, permits, training certifications, sign-in sheets, and toolbox meetings to the appropriate database or filing system.

• Provide operational oversight in the areas of client management, procedural issues, financial and reporting issues, and workforce planning and analysis.

• Actively manage the workload, professional development, and client development skills of project management staff.

• Promote positive customer relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all contractors, subcontractors and vendors, and continually instilling this philosophy in the project team with regard to safety, quality, customer service and profitability.

• Initiate, execute, and document a quality job start-up meeting for your project(s).

• Manage and maintain "Strategic Partner" subcontractor and vendor relationships, including verification of timely payment.

• Perform monthly project reviews with project teams to ensure adherence to schedules, quality of work, safety, administration and profitability.

• Analyze available and qualified personnel and make specific project assignments to meet project needs.

• Assist the PMs and Superintendents with resolution of specific issues and requests.

• Manage customer relations and change order negotiations.

• Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc.

• Represent the Company at project Senior Management meetings.

• Schedule, facilitate, and document project close out meetings. Verify project data sheets and photos (with client\'s permission) for all completed projects.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

• Bachelor\'s degree in construction management civil engineering, Structural Engineering or other related field

• PE license a plus

• Minimum 10 years\' experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction. Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment and methods required

• Proven experience mentoring and managing others

• Business development/heavy client interaction a plus

• Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience

TRAVEL:

• 10 - 25%

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• General work environment - This position is performed primarily on active construction sites. Activity includes sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

• Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

The Project Executive is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the strategic as well as the day-to-day operations for all Construction, Project Management and Project Administration activities.
