The Assistant Project Manager is an entry-level project management position and is expected to learn and develop competency in the Essential Duties and Responsibilities. In addition, the APM is responsible for providing administrative and construction support for our Project Management team.
Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, (Return for Information), and meeting minutes.
Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager, including planning, coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures, and standards are maintained, etc.
Maintain change orders, submittal, and document (drawing) control logs. Prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.
Responsible for contract submittals that are accurate and timely.
Responsible for creating and issuing the Subcontractors' contracts.
Responsible for the assembly and timely delivery of the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
Ensure that the project quality control plan is followed.
Interacts with subcontractors to ensure we have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
Responsible for keeping the Warranty Log up to date.
Attend company/project meetings with clients, subcontractors, etc., and provide project management support
Cooperate with and technically assist field personnel assigned to the area of responsibility.
Monitor other contractors' activities and progress.
Responsible for creating the Job Information Sheets and establishing Job Files.
Prepares price change orders and project reports and documentation.
Works with payroll to ensure accurate payroll information.

The Project Manager I is a mid-level project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support for several small to medium projects or one large project supporting senior project management.
Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.
Supervise and direct project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers, planning, coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, and maintaining all company/project policies, procedures, standards, etc.
Provide project management expertise to establish initial client contact. This will include the assessment of the scope of work, schedule, and resources necessary to complete a project successfully.
Responsible for preparing a complete estimate for the selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications, and bid form.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the guidelines of corporate policies.
Supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project. Negotiate all change orders on the project.
Monitor construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and under supervision.
Supervise the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client and assist in negotiating all change quotations to a conclusion.
Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the client.
Review any documentation prepared by Assistant Project Manager before submission.
Represent the company in project meetings under the guidance of PM II or Sr. Project Manager.

The Project Manager I is a mid-level project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support for several small to medium projects or one large project supporting senior project management.
Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.

The Project Manager II is a senior project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support to two to four concurrent projects of small to medium crew size or one to two concurrent projects of large crew size. This is a senior project management role with developed subject matter expertise and the capability to mentor and train other staff.
May train and provide direction to Project Assistant and/or Project Manager I in maintaining project-required tracking devices.

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Project Manager II is a senior project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support to two to four concurrent projects of small to medium crew size or one to two concurrent projects of large crew size. This is a senior project management role with developed subject matter expertise and the capability to mentor and train other staff.
May train and provide direction to Project Assistant and/or Project Manager I in maintaining project-required tracking devices.
Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
Participates in the supervision and training of Project Assistants and/or Project Manager I.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within guidelines of corporate policies.
Negotiate the terms and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.
Liaison with primary client and A/E to facilitate construction activities
Under the direction of Project Manager III and/or Sr. Project Manager, support construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is being built on schedule and within budget.
Anticipate, prevent, and resolve potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines.
Represent the company in project meetings.
Direct the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a successful conclusion.
Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
Manage the financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest, and maintain a good relationship with the client.
May assist with the development of new business opportunities.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred

SUMMARY
The Site Manager is responsible for providing overall management direction for all site-specific functions, running major projects, supervising site staff, and training Project Assistants.
Supervise all site office activities including personnel administration, performance review, etc.
Maintain a complete knowledge of the status of all site projects. Instill and promote a "win-win" attitude with the Project Managers to ensure successful, profitable work for the company as well as a satisfied customer. Conduct weekly project reviews. Coordinate efforts with Division Manager.
Monitor overall quantity and quality of work performed by the site office.
Develop new business opportunities and maintain positive customer relations regarding site sustaining projects relative to the site.
Select/assign project team members based on their experience and the needs of the project.
Assume additional responsibilities as required by the site office\'s operating needs or as directed by the Division Manager.

SUMMARY
The Site Manager is responsible for providing overall management direction for all site-specific functions, running major projects, supervising site staff, and training Project Assistants.
Supervise all site office activities including personnel administration, performance review, etc.
Maintain a complete knowledge of the status of all site projects. Instill and promote a "win-win" attitude with the Project Managers to ensure successful, profitable work for the company as well as a satisfied customer. Conduct weekly project reviews. Coordinate efforts with Division Manager.
Monitor overall quantity and quality of work performed by the site office.
Develop new business opportunities and maintain positive customer relations regarding site sustaining projects relative to the site.
Select/assign project team members based on their experience and the needs of the project.
Assume additional responsibilities as required by the site office\'s operating needs or as directed by the Division Manager.
Perform all duties as described in the description of Senior Project Manager.
The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position\'s role within the business unit.

The HSE Specialist I is an entry-level professional safety position. It is a field-based position and supports the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs by collaborating with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and customer representatives. Assists in site inspections, hazard identification, incident investigations, training, and compliance documentation to promote a safe work environment. Contributes to planning, audits, and safety initiatives to align with company and regulatory standards.

The Estimator I works under general supervision and provides overall support for several small to medium projects.
Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
Receives instructions from senior-level estimators to review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and requirements.
Using established procedures to prepare estimates by calculating the complete takeoff of the scope of work and entering them into the computer estimating system; review the estimate printout for accuracy and completeness.
Work with existing suppliers and subcontractors to solicit quotes and review quotes for completeness in relation to plans and specifications.
Work with senior-level estimators to provide the Lead Estimator,Estimating Manager, and/or Chief Estimator a detailed review of the scope, technical requirements, and pricing for the estimated bid package.
Contributes to the timely completion of all client-required documents.
Using existing templates to draft scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimates.
Maintain files of working documents for backup to estimating assumptions and methodologies.

Advanced knowledge of the assigned discipline, construction technology, estimating techniques, and cost control
Interpret computerized cost data and electrical systems
Perform arithmetic calculations required for estimating
Read and interpret engineering design drawings, specifications, and front-end documents
Identify and meet customers' needs expectations and requirements
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of specific variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
Work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Oral and written communication skills as required for the position
Self-motivated and can work independently and as part of a team
Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
0-2 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects, preferably in electrical construction
Basic experience/exposure in Accubid estimating
Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience
Up to 10%
General work environment - sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
Noise level is typically low to medium; it can be loud on a job site.
Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

The Estimator I is a salaried, entry-level position that assists in preparing bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Estimator I has limited discretion to vary from established procedures when assembling construction costs by collecting and studying information to learn how to bid on a project.
