Rosendin is seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager, External Communications to elevate and protect our brand through compelling storytelling, thoughtful brand positioning, and proactive reputation management. This role will lead the development and execution of Rosendin's external communications strategy, translating business priorities, market insights, and audience needs into clear, consistent messaging across all external channels.

The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and trusted advisor who can balance long-term brand strategy with agile execution, particularly during high-profile, fast-moving, or sensitive situations. This leader will build strong partnerships across the business, drive measurable impact, and ensure Rosendin's voice is authentic, consistent, and aligned with our values and business objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead brand positioning efforts, including competitive analysis, audience insights, message testing, and narrative development.

  • Translate research and business priorities into clear positioning frameworks, messaging strategies, and compelling external storytelling.

  • Partner with leaders and key stakeholders to ensure consistent brand expression across all external-facing communications.

  • Own Rosendin's crisis communications strategy, including preparedness planning, response protocols, and messaging execution during critical situations.

  • Serve as the central communications advisor during sensitive or high-profile issues, collaborating closely with Legal, HR, Operations, and executive leadership.

  • Draft and manage external statements, media responses, and stakeholder communications to protect and strengthen Rosendin's reputation.

  • Lead speaking opportunities, sponsorships, executive visibility initiatives, and event communications to maximize brand awareness and business impact.

  • Develop and manage Rosendin's external communications calendar, aligning content, campaigns, and key moments with business priorities.

  • Oversee external communications channels, including media relations, owned content, partner communications, and brand campaigns, ensuring a consistent voice and message.

  • Measure communications performance and manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously, using insights to optimize impact, improve effectiveness, and deliver results.

What You Bring to Us

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Communications, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in external communications, public relations, corporate communications, brand strategy, or related disciplines.

  • Demonstrated experience leading brand positioning, corporate reputation, and external narrative development.

  • Experience managing high-profile, sensitive, or crisis communications situations.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences.

  • Strong executive presence and the ability to advise, influence, and build credibility with senior leaders and key stakeholders.

  • Strategic and data-driven, using insights and measurement to inform decisions, shape messaging, and assess impact.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Curious, adaptable, and resourceful, leveraging technology and AI-enabled tools to enhance communication effectiveness while exercising sound judgment and discretion in sensitive situations.

Working Conditions:

  • General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning

  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

Pay Range

$168,400.00-$221,000.00 Annual

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate's pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
